This year's festival was attended by nearly 1,150 students and teachers from 52 classrooms representing 23 schools in the City of Topeka and surrounding school districts. The Festival could not happen if it were not for the more than 100 volunteers who gave their time and talents to share water education with area students. The day was filled with great, hands-on activities, interesting exhibits, and cold water! The Topeka Water Festival is fortunate to have its many great sponsors and partners so that all this can be provided at no cost to teachers or schools.
